If you've decided to fly to Vietnam from France soon, you'll find direct flights at very affordable prices. Find out here which airlines operate flights to Vietnam and the journey times to and from various airports.
If you're looking for a direct flight to Vietnam, be aware that only two airlines offer this option: Vietnam Airlines and Air France. Following an agreement between the two airlines, flights are sold and operated by one or the other.
If you don't mind a layover, there are plenty of other airlines that fly to Vietnam from different countries, including Emirates and Turkish Airlines, for example. However, this often adds to your travel time, and the price isn't necessarily any better.
First of all, you should know that Vietnam has 5 international airports :
Tan Son Nhat (SGN) in Ho Chi Minh.
Noi Bai (HAN) in Hanoi.
Cam Ranh (CXR) to Nha Trang.
Da Nang (DAD) to Danang.
Phu Quoc (PQC).
However, only Tan Son Nhat and Noi Bai airports are served directly from France. To get to Cam Ranh, Da Nang, or Phu Quoc, you'll need to take a domestic flight.

As the tables above highlight, the only direct flights to Vietnam are from Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). However, it is very well served by most airports in France, or by train if you live in the Paris region or eastern France.
Flight prices to Vietnam vary depending on the date you book, as well as supply and demand. However, if you book in advance, you can find direct flights from CDG starting from €550 return.
If you're planning to drive to the airport, be sure to book your parking space in advance to avoid incurring additional expenses. Parking at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport is the most expensive in France, and the cheapest options are often full around busy departure times.
